RUDIMENTARY, MY DEAR WATSON! HAMMERED DULCIMER with Cliff
Cliff Cole will teacher a class on the hammered dulcimer in the Ashokan Center's Autoharp and Dulcimer 2020 Cyber Gathering Camp Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17. In this hammered dulcimer class he will show how some rudiments of percussion will enhance your playing. We'll cover “sticking”, Single & double roll strokes, paradiddles, and flams. It's fun! This two-day event will be held at the Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church, 168 South Bond Street, Milford, CT 06460. The festival runs Friday from 2:00 to 10:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

A benefit concert for the immigrant children in detention centers in Texas and Florida. An evening of songs of peace, love and justice by Rolly Brown, Tachyonmetry (Cliff Cole & Brian Pearson), Jennifer Worthington, and The Throwbacks (Dwight Shumate, Anthony Viscounte, and Bob Calandra.)
